Pumps for nuclear applications - 1961

Research work carried out by Dr. K. Rütschi to adapt pumps to nuclear constraints. Delivery of the first machines for the transfer of radioactive products to a research center in Switzerland.

New global perspectives - 1967

Delivery of the first canned motor pumps for the Beznau nuclear power plant (Switzerland).
Rapid growth of the chemical industry.

Rütschi settles in France - 1970

Creation of a French manufacturing site, “Pompes Rütschi SA”, in Mulhouse, strengthening Rütschi’s presence in Alsace and France, in the context of the development of the Basel chemical industry and the construction of nuclear power plants by EDF.

New phase of international development - 1976

ASME: Obtaining ASME N and NPT certifications (U.S. nuclear standards).
Naval sector: Supply of pumps to the French Navy for submarines.
