1946

Invention of the “Perfecta“: The groundbreaking canned motor pump innovation for domestic heating.
Development on the Swiss market, and global market coverage by licenses granted to leading manufacturers of pumps for building applications.

1967

Development of the “Chemieperfecta“: The canned motor pump for chemical industry.
Rütschi became a reference for challenging applications and for environmental protection. We acquired a rich experience in hazardous pumped fluids for chemical applications.

1970

Rütschi introduced the canned motor pump in nuclear applications.
Creation of Pompes Rütschi SAS in France to be closer to the most advanced development centers in Europe (Framatome AREVA).
Capitalizing to its ASME certification, Rütschi also developed a range of pumps to fit in the WESTINGHOUSE technology.
Thanks to the collaboration with these partners, Rütschi became a very active player in the nuclear community: research centers, uranium chemistry, nuclear reactors, reprocessing and waste storage.

2006

Gruppe Rütschi is acquired by the company Gruppo Aturia SpA based in Gessate (Milan – Italy)
With this acquisition, Aturia benefits from strong skills and experience in oil & gas industries and nuclear energy.

2012

Gruppe Rütschi has led a process of development, synergy and renewal through significant investments.
The internationalization of business and the development of international partnerships enhance the added value for our clients.

2013

Rütschi transferred its industrial activities in Illzach (Mulhouse – France) to focus its Swiss site (Brugg) on its mission as a center of excellence of nuclear engineering.

2015

WPIL acquired Gruppo Aturia and Gruppe Rütschi.
