Rütschi pumps are used in high-power reactors operated by EDF, KHNP and Electrabel, among others. They perform critical functions such as cooling, safety, effluent management and primary circuit chemistry control. Our expertise also covers future SMRs and AMRs. Thanks to their standardised design, our pumps can be integrated into the most demanding nuclear systems.
The pumps are used in safety-classified circuits, component cooling, effluent mixing and drainage, and in controlling the chemistry of the primary circuit via boron solution management.
Our equipment is designed in accordance with RCC-M and ASME III codes, with full traceability. Meeting deadlines, standardising interfaces and ensuring maintainability without specialised tools are at the heart of our commitments.
CNR-F : forged body pump with mechanical seal, designed for safety, control and cooling applications.
SMR-F: wet rotor pump with forged body, classified for safety and designed for the transfer of radioactive fluids or effluent management, without risk of leakage.
Both models offer consistent performance over time and compatibility with power plant operating constraints, both in normal operation and in accident situations. Their design facilitates integration into standardised architectures.
Designed for a service life equivalent to that of the power plant, Rütschi pumps incorporate simplified maintenance logic. Replaceable components can be removed without special tools, reducing downtime, contamination risks and service costs.
Pre-dimensioning in accordance with RCC-M and ASME III codes allows us to reduce design times while ensuring compatibility with customer systems. Thanks to our standardised range, manufacturing times can be reduced to 14 months. Complete traceability is ensured, from the raw material to the person who carried out each operation.
